Talk about an incredibly small world! When Krista and Chet reached out for family photos, I did a quick double take at their names. I thought it sounded familiar! Sure enough, it was the same people I knew back from our time at the University of Iowa. For those that don’t know, I marched in the University of Iowa Hawkeye Marching Band and for the first year of my time there, Chet was actually the drum major!
Just like we did, they made their way to Denver after attending the University of Iowa and I am so glad that we crossed paths again. I had such a fantastic evening capturing them and their two adorable kiddos. We laughed, played with grass, played tag and hide and seek and had so much fun running around the park!
They recently reached out for family photos again and I was so sad to tell them that I wasn’t in Denver anymore but now photographing families in the Chicagoland suburbs. So grateful to now be a family photographer in Naperville and the surrounding areas, but I will miss connecting with my lovely clients like this family!
