This wedding was one for the books! I had the best time second shooting for Laura Wolfgang Photography and capturing Chris and Ashlee’s wedding day at Cheyenne Mountain Resort. Not only is it an absolutely beautiful wedding venue, but we got so lucky with the weather.
In true Colorado fashion, the day started with threats of torrential downpour and we had even discussed moving Chris and Ashlee’s ceremony inside. But luckily everything turned out for the best and after a few rainy portraits, they had a stunning, sunny ceremony on the beach at Cheyenne Mountain Resort surrounded by their closest family and friends.
Their day was overflowing with bright, colorful flowers which just accentuated the beautiful scenery. They also had the cutest wedding favors, even including koozies with their wedding details! Ashlee’s energy throughout the day kept a smile on all our faces and she had so much energy dancing that she even ended up flat on the floor at one point in the evening! Thankfully she was just fine, and continued to laugh through the whole thing. If that doesn’t sum up her entire personality, I don’t know what does!
I had such a fun time photographing this day alongside Laura. Ashlee and Chris, thank you for being so kind and welcoming. Cheers to an amazing future as Mr and Mrs!
