When Glenna suggested Roxborough State Park for her and Travis’ engagement session, I was so excited! It was the perfect backdrop to celebrate this lovely couple.
Luckily both Glenna and Travis brought great outfit choices for cold weather because my goodness, it was freezing. I even clicked the shutter button a few times just because I was shivering! Even though it was cold, these two were troopers throughout the entire session and we had fun exploring quite a few places throughout the park. We got a good laugh while we took breaks inside the public restroom, warming up under the hand dryers. As a Denver engagement photographer, it’s no surprise to me when the weather changes quickly, this is Colorado after all. But this was probably the coldest engagement session in Denver I’ve done. The photos were well worth it though!
Glenna and I met through our gym and I’m so glad she thought of me to capture this exciting time in her and Travis’ lives! They originally met a few years ago and their first date was at a local trivia night. When they met, Glenna had mentioned how much she enjoyed trivia so Travis took note as he planned their first date. How cute! When I asked what their ideal date night was, they responded “Nuggets game!”…as a Denver sports fan, that sounds like an awesome date!
They are getting married in January at The Boulders at Black Canyon Inn. This Estes Park venue is a perfect modern mountain venue, and I can’t wait to capture their wedding day. I have no doubt it will be a gorgeous and romantic day!
Congratulations Glenna and Travis on your engagement. I can’t wait until January!
