Earlier in the year, I had the pleasure of photographing Kate’s older sister Claire at the University of Denver – check out her session here! I was excited when their family reached out again to capture Kate’s high school senior photos. Their whole family is incredibly kind and supportive.

We met up at one of my favorite Denver spots, Cheesman Park. This park offers gorgeous column backgrounds, florals, greenery and so much more. Located in the heart of Denver, it is easy to access and is a true timeless Denver location. It can get a bit busy, especially on weekends, so make sure you’re ready to be patient as the Pavillon clears out!

Not only is Kate graduating with honors, but she’s also an accomplished CrossFit athlete. I follow her on social media and every time she posts it reminds me I gotta hit the gym. Thanks for the inspiration Kate! The graduates I get to work with as a senior photographer in Denver are pretty incredible, and Kate is no exception. While she was telling me all about her CrossFit accomplishments as well as her academic accomplishments, she mentioned that she planned on going into the medical field and is pursuing a pre-med track at college. She continues to surprise me!

Kate, thank you so much for being patient as we got those perfect moments in at Cheesman Park. It was an absolute honor working with you and I’m incredibly excited to see what the future holds for you. I have no doubt you’ll accomplish great things in the years to come!
