As a photographer, especially a photographer in Colorado, sometimes I wish could control every aspect of the weather to make everything just perfect for my clients. But the weather in Littleton, Colorado had different thoughts for our evening!

On the day of Cara, Mark and their dog Gemma’s shoot, the weather at South Valley State Park in Morrison, Colorado was cloudy and very windy and I almost suggested rescheduling. But they were such great spirits and we had the best time wandering around the park, taking all sorts of photos and even watching some wildlife!

The wind actually ended up making for such cute pictures with Cara’s awesome hat and beautiful orange dress and we even got a lovely little sunset right at the very end of our time together. Great props (like a hat and fun dress) are great ideas for your next couple’s session!
